We value hard-working individuals with exemplary patient care skills who are willing to serve a diverse population of clientele. Our Medical Office Assistants are responsible for patient scheduling, check-in, check-out, co-pay collection, insurance verification, and attending to any patient call to the clinic. Medical Office Assistant Responsibilities/Expectations:
Adhere to and abide by all HIPAA policies Show ability to be adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment Careful and comprehensive approach to patient care Team player; be able to multi-task and help fellow colleagues when applicable Strong customer service skills and effective communicator Dependable, punctual, deliberate with work ethic
Desired Medical Office Experience:
Verifying insurance eligibility Prior authorizations Co-pay collection and Understanding of deductibles
Position Qualifications:
High school diploma 1 year minimum experience working in medical office setting (preferred) Some level of experience with Electronic Medical Records and Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
