  • Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is looking for a customer-focused
  • Patient Visit Specialist - Oncology
  • to join our team. In this role, you will provide a high level of support and customer service for all patients and guests of the Cancer Center. Assure that patients who are unfamiliar with the Cancer Center are personally guided to their destination and provided a "warm hand-off" to the staff. Works directly with the providers to assure proper coordination of care for each patient.
  • What You'll Do:
  • + Acts as a point of contact for providers and staff with any patient scheduling questions or concerns.
+ Obtains insurance verification and secures authorization required for services provided at the Cancer Center. + Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments. + Collect payments and support accurate billing processes. + Schedules research patient per research protocol. + Maintain patient records and support day-to-day office operations.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED. Coursework in insurance/billing, medical practice education or seminars are all preferred. +
CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE:
None + MINIMUM
EXPERIENCE
2 years of experience in a medical or physician office or comparable healthcare environment.
