  • Full-time Overview Alex PT is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team.
You'll be the first point of contact for our patients — providing exceptional customer service, managing patient information, and keeping the front end of our clinic running smoothly. The ideal candidate has strong phone etiquette, solid administrative skills, and experience in a healthcare setting. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations as needed Schedule appointments efficiently in our electronic health record system Answer incoming calls professionally, addressing patient questions and concerns with clarity Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and ensure compliance with health information protocols Collaborate with clinical staff to keep patient access to care seamless Perform administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and filing Qualifications Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar healthcare role preferred Insurance and authorization experience preferred Proficient with computer systems for data entry and scheduling Strong phone etiquette and communication skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks Commitment to patient confidentiality and health regulations Benefits Health care stipend
