Medical Pre-Verification Specialist

Mid-America Gastrointestinal-Intestinal Consultants is a six provider GI practice located next to Saint Luke's Hospital on the Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri. We operate Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. No weekends or holidays required.

Responsibilities:

Confirm Patients Insurance/Benefits Work Closely with Procedure Schedulers Procedure Authorizations Notify Patients on Out-of-Pocket Costs Notify Patients on Cost Day of Service Answers Active Phone Calls Enters Payment from Patients on

Incoming Calls Requirements:

Claims Preferred 1 year background in Medical Office Experience. Customer service and interpersonal skills are very important. Must be proficient with computers.
