Job Description
Responsible for greeting and registering incoming patients, distributing and collecting required paperwork, accurately entering demographic and insurance information, and requesting/collecting patient deposits in accordance with KDMC policies and procedures. Shift 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Associate degree in Medical Office Technology or equivalent education required. In lieu of the required education, a minimum of two (2) years of office experience is acceptable; medical office experience is preferred. Proficient in the operation of computers and standard office equipment. Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels. Must be bondable. Must successfully complete a typing test with a minimum speed of 35 words per minute. The typing test will be scheduled by KDMC. Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays.
