Job Description

Dymond Speech & Rehab is a therapist-owned, private pediatric outpatient practice. For the past 20 years, DSR has been providing OT, PT, and ST services to children of all ages. Responsibilities The candidate must be driven, have a strong work ethic, professional phone etiquette, and be able to communicate well.
Job responsibilities include:
Call patients to follow up after cancellations and/or no-shows and reschedules accordingly. Documents in medical record. Collects patient payments and co-pays in accordance with patient benefits and fee schedules. Helps with insurance and Medicaid authorizations. Supports therapists and administration staff. Answers phone calls and assists the administrative specialists when needed. Greets patients and families. Scanning documents into electronic health records. Multi-task through various job duties at the same time. General office upkeep with housekeeping duties. As one of the first members of our team to interact with our patients, the ideal candidate must be compassionate, patient, and flexible. Additionally, the candidate must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a professional and friendly approach with our patients.
Qualifications Education:
Associates Degree is preferred Experience in a medical office setting: 2+ years is preferred Bilingual is preferred Applicants must have reliable transportation Google Suite knowledge (especially with Spreadsheets) This is a full-time position, with NO weekends and holidays.
