Join our passionate team in this unique bilingual position, with essential and multi-faceted responsibilities both in and out of the clinic!
Responsible For:
1. Front Desk Operations (approximately 15 hours/week) a. Patient Support i. Check patients in and out for appointments ii. Communicate with patients for scheduling, reminders, and confirmations iii. Answer and document phone calls for triage to the appropriate colleague iv. Assist with patient services documentation and communication (i.e. medication programs, external referrals, etc.) b. Staff Support i. Prepare daily schedules, clipboards, and notes for all staff and volunteers ii. Lead one weekly pre-clinic team huddle c. Clinic Support i. Welcome any visitors or deliveries and communicate to the appropriate team member ii. Collaborate with front desk colleagues to ensure front office, waiting room, and front restroom are cleaned and stocked daily iii. Update supply requests for inventory restock d. Administrative Project Support i.
May include:
backup coverage for other administrative team members, clerical tasks (filing, scanning, medical records, forms, etc), translation of patient materials, and other special projects as requested 2. Data Management (approximately 5 hours/week) a. Collaborate with the Medical Director and Quality Improvement Provider for data collection, analysis, and presentation b. Advise the Executive Director on reporting needs for current and prospective funding opportunities 3. Community Engagement (occasional) a. As schedules permit, represent Samaritan Health Center for priority community events (such as a presentation on clinic services, table hosting, or supporting clinical volunteers during health screenings) b. Coordinate with volunteers joining for events The breakdown of responsibilities and schedule may vary by week based on events and reporting deadlines. However, this position includes required front desk coverage in clinic each Tuesday (2-8 PM) and a minimum of one other weekday. A more detailed weekly schedule will be discussed with candidates during interviews.

Samaritan Health Center Operations Director.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a 20 hour/week position with a salary range of $18-$20/hour, commensurate with education and experience. After 90 days, staff members are eligible for pre-tax retirement contributions. Samaritan Health Center will match up to 3% of employee contributions. Staff members are eligible for three weeks paid time off per calendar year (prorated by start date for any staff hired mid-year). This time includes vacation, sick, and personal days, and is in addition to clinic observed holidays. Samaritan Health Center closes on eight federal holidays annually when they fall on a scheduled clinic day. Should this position expand to 30 hours/week, Samaritan Health Center offers enrollment in its QSEHRA (reimbursement account to cover individual health insurance premiums). The successful candidate will demonstrate these qualifications: 1. Active and personal Christian faith 2. Enthusiastic support of the mission, vision, and core values of Samaritan Health Center 3.
Bilingual Spanish and English fluency:
in person, in writing, and on the phone. 4. A clear commitment to serving with discretion, humility, excellence, and compassion 5. Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines. This is a hands-on position, working with patients, staff members, partners, and volunteers. 6. Proficiency with computers (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, Dropbox). 7. Training in Epic (electronic health record) will be required if not previously completed. 8. Excellent customer relations, teamwork, and communication skills both by phone and face to face. 9. Enthusiasm and willingness to represent Samaritan Health Center in community events: building relationships, collaborating, and maintaining partnerships 10. Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing schedules and responsibilities 11. Willing and able to work in a variety of environments, including the front desk, an office for data management, and various community sites
