•Nephrology Practice Position Summary Carolina Kidney Care is seeking a professional, friendly, and dependable Front Desk / Patient Services Representative to join our Fayetteville office. The Front Desk Representative plays an important role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting the daily operations of our medical office. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, compassionate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential. •1:00 PM Full-Time Key Responsibilities Greet patients and provide professional, friendly customer service Check patients in and out for appointments Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Answer and route incoming telephone calls appropriately Respond to patient questions and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member Collect copayments, balances, and other patient payments Provide patients with appointment information and necessary paperwork Review and maintain accurate patient information in the electronic medical record Assist with referrals, authorizations, and other front-office duties as needed Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other staff Maintain an organized and welcoming front-desk area Perform other administrative duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous medical office or healthcare experience preferred EPIC experience is a plus Excellent customer service and communication skills Professional and courteous demeanor Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to handle confidential patient information appropriately Comfortable working in a busy medical office environmen
