Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and support within a medical office environment. You will be responsible for managing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations in our office. Duties As a Patient Services Representative, your responsibilities will include: Greeting patients warmly and assisting them with their needs upon arrival. Managing appointment scheduling and confirmations to optimize patient flow. Handling incoming calls and addressing patient inquiries regarding services and procedures. Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Assisting with insurance verification and processing payments, co-pays and other billing related inquiries. Collaborating with medical staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care. Utilizing medical terminology effectively to communicate with both patients and healthcare professionals. •Must be willing to travel to multiple Neurology and Pain Management Clinics. Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and administrative support functions is essential. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff. Proficiency in office software applications and electronic health record systems is a plus.
