Patient Services Specialist / Front Desk Carolina Foot & Ankle Associates | Hickory & Morganton, NC Real work-life balance. Real impact. Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Friday 8:00 AM-1:00 PM 9 paid holidays + Birthday Pay + more We're a growing podiatry practice looking for a reliable, professional Patient Services Specialist who takes pride in showing up, staying organized, and creating a warm first impression for every patient. You'll be the vital link between our front desk and clinical team at our Hickory and Morganton locations, keeping patient flow smooth and the office running efficiently. What You'll Do Open and close the clinic Greet and check in patients with a friendly, professional manner Verify insurance and update patient demographics Ensure paperwork is complete and accurate Enter information into the EMR Answer phones and schedule appointments Check out patients, post charges, and collect copays, coinsurance, and deductibles What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of medical office experience (required) High school diploma or GED Strong computer skills and excellent data-entry accuracy Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills Highly dependable — someone who consistently shows up and takes pride in their work Ability to stay calm and positive under pressure Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a big plus.
