Job Description

Benefits:

Hours:
8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week The Bilingual Patient Support Specialist will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and processing records, logs, and files; scheduling appointments; and performing data entry for the Clinical Services Division. Performs complex clerical duties under regular supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
Registers patients by checking them in and out in a timely and professional manner Verifies patient insurance coverage and eligibilityCollects co-payments in accordance with office policies Schedules and confirms patient appointments
Education/Experience:
Any combination of education and clerical experience equivalent to graduation from high schoolFluent in both written and oral English and SpanishComputer proficiency in Microsoft applications such as
Word, SharePoint, Excel, and PublisherKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, equipment and administrative support techniquesKnowledge of business English, spelling and basic arithmeticAbility to apply policies and procedures accurately Must be able to perform arithmetic calculations and prepare forms as well as statistical tables Accurate typing and date entry skills with attention to detail Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff, and the general public Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Our MissionTo improve individual and community health through services, education, and collaborative action.
