CCHC New Bern Internal Medicine Specialists Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at CCHC New Bern Internal Medicine Specialists. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a welcoming environment and ensure smooth clinic operations. Duties Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up visits using our electronic health record system Collect and update patient demographic and insurance information accurately Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing information or directing calls to appropriate staff Assist patients with completing necessary forms and provide clear instructions for their visit Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records with precision Requirements Previous experience working in a medical office setting preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare administrative procedures Strong office experience with proficiency in electronic health records systems and office software Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare certifications are a plus
