Job Description

Basic Function Responsible for all activities associated with data entry of orders and providing customer service within established corporate guidelines. Duties Respond to incoming customer requests, calls, faxes and other questions regarding new and existing orders. Contact new and existing customers via telephone regarding new and existing orders. Process new and existing orders in a timely manner. Enter data from customers and referral sources. Be knowledgeable concerning Medicare/Medicaid/private insurance coverage and requirements. Convert orders into invoices and print and route copies as appropriate. Maintain adequate stock levels to insure all products are sufficiently available as assigned. Verify all order information for accuracy before entering into the computer. Track sales/referrals leads for future follow-up. Prepare computer reports and review for accuracy. Interface with scheduling and shipping regarding delivery dates. Promptly assist customers with products and services. Provide quality customer service to the customer. Promptly answer multi-line telephone. General knowledge of all company products, services and locations. Act in a professional manner at all times to customers and other employees. Interact as needed with other departments and locations regarding products and services.
Operate standard office equipment including:
photocopy machine fax machine computer/printer postage machine multi-line telephone Keep work areas neat and clean. Comply with HIPAA policies and procedures. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Diploma/GED Associates Degree in related field preferred Experience 1-2 years work experience in related field preferred
