We are looking for friendly Medical Office Specialists who enjoy working with people, staying organized, and being part of a mission-driven healthcare team that serves the community every day. Answer and manage incoming phone calls as needed Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently Verify and update patient information in the medical record Collect co-pays and patient payments Assist patients with payment plan processes Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff Support billing and administrative workflows Help maintain an organized and positive front office environment
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Strong computer and data entry skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a medical office, clinic, dental office, hospital, banking, retail, hospitality, or customer service setting Familiarity with medical terminology or insurance processes Experience working with diverse populations and fast-paced environments Fluent in English and Spanish Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Occasional bending, lifting, and reaching (up to 35 lbs) Manual dexterity for operating office equipment (computer, phone, copier) Adequate vision and hearing to perform job duties Why People Choose Good Neighbor At Good Neighbor, you are more than a receptionist or scheduler.
