We are seeking a dedicated Patient Services Representative to provide exceptional care and support in our Derry office . The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, passion for patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome all patient and family members in a positive and helpful manner. Confirm superbill is complete and accurate. Collect workers comp forms and ensure forms are completed and distributed to the necessary parties. Schedule appropriate follow up appointments and complete appointment card in accordance with appointment scheduling policy. Enter patient visit information into document management system. Collect co-payments, past due balances, DME payments or set up payment plans at check out. Daily entry of office visit charges and patient payments to include coding, verifying outstanding charges, filing superbills, balancing charges and payments. Other office duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Previous medical office experience preferred Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced team environment Exceptional communication and customer service skills Professional attitude and appearance a must Insurance knowledge Computer skills High school diploma (Required)
