Podiatric Medical Assistant at Northeast Foot and Ankle Experience preferred, but not required! You don't need to be certified! We are willing to train candidates with a strong desire to be a valuable member of our clinical setting. -New Grads with healthcare training -Former and current
CNA, LNA, MA
We train medical professionals to become Podiatry Medical Assistants. Since we are a highly specialized practice, extensive training is provided. What is needed is a desire to provide legendary patient care and to learn and develop new skills. Some medical background is required through experience or schooling. This is a great opportunity for individuals that desire enhanced professional development in the health care field as our doctors and medical staff treat patients with wide ranging conditions from wounds to fractures and perform treatments including lasers, shockwave therapy and surgery.
Responsibilities include:
preparing and maintaining treatment rooms prepping patients charting scanning for custom orthotics 3D printing administering patient treatment plans scheduling MRIs scheduling surgeries assisting with procedures communicating with patients taking x-rays inventory control Other tasks as assigned which could include administrative tasks The candidates we seek are patient oriented, have excellent communication skills (oral and written), enjoy taking initiative, work well within teams and promote a positive work environment. The have strong organizational, communication, process management and interpersonal skills are critical for successful candidates. As we expand our team we are looking for upbeat, engaged employees with positive can-do attitudes. Willingness to take initiative is essential.
