Answers questions and helps resolve complaints; provides liaison with health care providers; may assist with coordinating appointments or addressing billing or insurance issues.

Required:
Knowledge of medical terminology Good typing and computer skills
Preferred:
HS Diploma Fluent in Spanish 1 year of previous Patient Access experience

Full-Time, hourly position 37.5 hours per week On-site at
Trinitas Regional Medical Center Williamson Street Campus Shift:
7 PM -8AM (12.5 hour shift) 3 days per week.
Week A:
Monday, Tuesday, & Saturday Week B:
Sun, Thursday, & Friday Essential Functions:
Experience in a hospital patient registration setting, doctors office, handling patients scheduling, obtaining pre-certifications, authorizations and referrals or patient services environment strongly preferred. Previous experience in a census management, assigning beds, position. Previous experience in a patient services environment billing/collections-must have a working knowledge of more than one provider such as Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs and others . Experience in completing medical assistance application, family care, PEs, PAICs or charity care. Experience in a customer service related environment preferred. Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and communicate with persons of varying acuities. Must be able to work with the public and maintain poise under difficult situations at all times.
