Job Description

Job Title:
Patient Support Specialist -
NJ Location:
Whippany, New Jersey (On-site)
Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated professionals to support patients in accessing essential prescription medications. Our team plays a key role in managing the patient experience, providing empathetic service and ensuring seamless care throughout the process.
Responsibilities:
Respond to inbound and outbound phone calls and claims from patients, physicians, and pharmacies regarding access to care and reimbursement needs. Deliver exceptional service with a focus on empathy and consumer experience, guiding patients through program goals and medication adherence. Refer and escalate requests as necessary while collaborating with internal program, IT, and contact center teams to resolve issues. Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned, including mail sorting and claims processing support as needed.
Required:
Completed High School diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare or case management role within a high-volume contact center environment. Strong communication abilities, including active listening and effective written and verbal communication skills. Customer-focused approach with high empathy, adaptability, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
