Job Summary:
We are working with a company that is seeking a Patient Support Specialist - NJ Late Shift to provide compassionate, high-touch support for patients navigating access to care for prescription medications. Our team is representing this opportunity for a candidate who brings strong empathy, clear communication, and a service-driven mindset to help deliver a smooth and supportive patient experience.
Responsibilities:
Respond to inbound and outbound calls and claims from patients, physicians, and pharmacies. Support access to care and reimbursement needs with a strong focus on patient empathy and ease of use. Escalate complex requests as needed and partner with internal teams to help resolve issues. Assist with administrative tasks, including mail sort and claims processing, when needed.
Required:
High School diploma or GED is required. At least 1 year of experience in a health care or case management environment in a high-volume contact center, or a similar environment, is preferred. Experience in pharmacy benefits, health care insurance, and/or medical billing is preferred. Strong communication skills, customer focus, adaptability, problem-solving ability, and fluency in English are required; Spanish speaking is a plus.
