Patient Support Specialist -
NJ Late Shift Location:
Whippany, New Jersey (On-site)
Job Summary:
We are seeking passionate professionals to join our team in delivering concierge-level support to patients, physicians, and pharmacies. Our team is committed to enabling access to care for prescription medications and ensuring patients experience high levels of empathy and service throughout their journey.
Responsibilities:
Respond to inbound and outbound phone calls and claims, providing access to care and reimbursement support for patients, physicians, and pharmacies. Focus on delivering empathetic and superior consumer experiences with the goal of medication adherence and program seamlessness. Process claims or handle administrative tasks such as mail sorting as needed, based on volume. Escalate requests and engage internal teams and management for issue resolution while supporting other departments when appropriate.
Required:
High School diploma or GED completion. 1+ years of experience in health care or case management within a high-volume contact center environment or similar setting (preferred). Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear, effective writing with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Customer-focused mindset demonstrating high levels of empathy and emotional intelligence.
