Job Description

SNI Companies is working with a large radiology firm in Mercer County, NJ who is seeking a Patient Services Representative . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate management of patients during their appointment. This role is 100% on site.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Assist patients in completing necessary forms and documents for medical records and services. Provide information about the healthcare facility, services offered, and answer inquiries from patients and their families. Retrieve and release medical records to authorized personnel and ensure proper authorization and documentation. Process requests for medical records in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining accurate tracking and documentation. Enter patient information into the electronic health record (EHR) system accurately and promptly. Verify and update demographic and insurance information, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records. Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner, resolving issues promptly and effectively. Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration related to patient care and records. Adhere to relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and compliance requirements regarding patient privacy, confidentiality, and medical records management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or related field is a plus. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a healthcare setting. Knowledge of medical terminology, health information systems, and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry, record management, and communication.

Hours:
Monday- Friday 11:30am-8pm Rotating Saturday shift about once a month: 7am-12pm or 7am-4pm
