Patient Services Representative Saint Peter's University Healthcare System - 3.9 New Brunswick, NJ Job Details Full-time $18.00 - $26.58 an hour 10 hours ago Benefits Free parking Health insurance Dental insurance Tuition reimbursement Adoption assistance Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Patient Services Representative Dept of Genetic-Genomic Med The Patient Services Representative will: Greet and assist visitors and patients in a courteous and professional manner Register patients for medical visits and procedures by collecting personal and insurance information. Verify insurance coverage, collects copays and obtains necessary authorizations Schedule and manage patient appointments and follow-ups Manage accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information
Requirements:
One (1) to two (2) years of related experience in the healthcare field. Good office and organizational skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred. Good communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
Salary Range:
18.00 - 26.58 USD We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials. The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
