Job Description

A growing multidisciplinary healthcare organization is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its expanding outpatient rehabilitation team. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) -
Full Time Location:
Paterson, NJ Pay Rate:
$36-40/hour (based on experience and specialty background)
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week Responsibilities Implement treatment plans developed by supervising Physical Therapists Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities Monitor and document patient progress throughout therapy sessions Educate patients on exercises and recovery techniques for continued progress at home Maintain clean, safe, and organized treatment areas and equipment Communicate patient updates and concerns with the rehabilitation and healthcare team Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulatory standards Support departmental initiatives and additional projects as needed Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required Current NJ PTA license required Current CPR/BLS certification required Previous outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, patient safety practices, and medical terminology Ability to follow treatment plans accurately and effectively #
