In this essential role, you will guide prospective residents and their families through the admissions process, ensuring they feel welcomed, informed, and supported every step of the way. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who approaches each interaction with empathy, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to helping individuals and families. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and their families, providing clear, accurate, and compassionate information about the admissions process and available treatment programs. Conduct initial telephone screenings and assessments to evaluate eligibility and readiness for admission. Collaborate with clinical staff to review resident information and determine appropriate placement. Maintain complete, accurate, and current records in compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations. Assist with insurance verification, authorization, and financial eligibility processes. Conduct facility tours and answer questions from prospective residents and their families. Work closely with nursing, social services, clinical, and administrative teams to ensure a smooth and seamless admission experience. Prepare and distribute admission packets and all required documentation. Experience Prior admissions experience preferred, but will train the right individual. Knowledgeable in Medicare, commercial insurance and Medicaid regulations and eligibility requirements. Possess the ability to make independent decisions. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in spoken and written English to conduct intake screenings, explain admissions information, collaborate with clinical staff, and complete required documentation accurately.
