  • Part-time Hudson Premier Physical Therapy & Sports is a woman own private out patient clinic serving the Hudson County community for 14 years.
Our fun and energetic team is dedicated to creating and providing a comfortable and caring environment. We are seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist/Patient Representative to join and support our growing practice.
Available Shifts:
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday. The ideal candidate is professional, hardworking, detail-oriented, highly organized, reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You must be a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow. Experience verifying health insurance benefits, eligibility, deductibles, copays, and authorization requirements is required. A big plus if you have experience resolving, appealing, and reprocessing insurance claim denials. If this sounds like you, we'd LOVE to meet you!
  • EXPERIENCE IS A
    MUST, but we are willing to train a highly qualified candidate
  • Excellent communication skills, Bilingual in English and Spanish Responsibilities include: Greet and assist patients through the registration and check-in/check-out process.
Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, copays, deductibles, and authorization requirements. Obtain and track prior authorizations as needed. Review, follow up on, and assist with denied or rejected insurance claims ( experience is a plus ). Collect patient copays, deductibles, balances, and process payments. Schedule and confirm patient appointments. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally. Update and maintain accurate patient demographics and insurance information. Prepare letters and documentation for patient needs. Scan, upload, fax, and organize medical records and documents. Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system. Communicate effectively with providers, therapists, insurance companies, and patients. Assist with general administrative and office duties as assigned. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all company policies and procedures.
