This position focuses on delivering exceptional patient care, supporting aesthetic treatments, and guiding patients through their wellness journeys. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your expertise in medical administrative tasks, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and patient service will help create a welcoming environment while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance. Duties Key Responsibilities and Clinical Duties Patient Intake:
Welcome patients, measure vital signs, record height/weight, and conduct body composition analysis.
Treatment Preparation:
Set up procedure rooms for cosmetic injectables, laser treatments, and chemical peels.
Provider Assistance:
Assist medical providers during aesthetic procedures, minor surgeries, and clinical examinations.
Clinical Interventions:
Perform blood draws (phlebotomy), administer prescribed intramuscular injections, and collect laboratory specimens.
Patient Education:
Review pre- and post-care instructions for cosmetic procedures and explain weight loss program guidelines.
Record Management:
Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) regarding patient histories, treatments, and weight progress.
Inventory Control:
Track, order, and restock medical supplies, cosmetic products, and weight loss supplements.
Patient Coordination:
Schedule appointments, conduct follow-up calls, and manage patient check-in/check-out processes.
Compliance:
Adhere strictly to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control guidelines to ensure a safe clinical environment.
Qualifications and Experience Certification:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential.
First Aid:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Communication:
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanor suitable for a boutique clinic Previous clinic or medical office experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right applicant Proficiency in blood draws (phlebotomy) Strong knowledge of medical terminology and a desire to further this knowledge Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on patient service excellence in a healthcare environment Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and office equipment operation
