Overview:
We are an assisted living facility consisting of 200 residents in Beacon, NY. We are looking for a Director of patient Services.
Job description:
We are looking for a DPS RN to assist the Administrator and Case Manager in the daily operations of the Home following the Department of Health Regulations and the Policies/Procedures of the Home. To encourage participation in activities and daily activities of living provided to enhance the residents quality of life. Ensure a friendly, safe and secure environment. The DPS Rn will oversee the HHA's, medication room, and care of the residents. The RN will check weekly medication counts, update case notes for the residents, and communicate with the doctors on behaviors/conditions of the residents. You will make sure that all regulations and assisted living programs are followed through. Medical evaluations have to be entered into the system in a timely manner, as well as any case notes. You will be responsible for UAS and assessments of the residents. You must be a registered nurse. Supervisory experience is preferred and UAS experience. Schedule is typically Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm, with some weekend availability. This is for Hedgewood Assisted Living in
