In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, handling: Providing a reassuring presence during the patient experience Demographic and insurance information collection Registration for procedures and appointments Schedules and maintains daily appointments Collects co-payments and fees Check eligibility in real time This is a full-time, day-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the practice. The primary work location is 198-15 Horace Harding Expressway, Fresh Meadows, NY . Occasional travel to other practice locations may be required.

Preferred Criteria:

Some college coursework Experience working in a busy medical practice. Familiarity with Epic Experience with insurance authorization Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese is a plus

High School Diploma or GED Qualified candidates have prior administrative, patient appointments and surgical scheduling experience.
