Job Description

Victory Recovery Partners is a mission-driven Outpatient Recovery Center. We are unique in that we provide a one stop location for multiple services such as Medication Assisted Treatment, Wellness, Behavioral Health, and Psychiatry under one roof. We are currently looking for an Intake Coordinator in Hauppauge to work either full time or part time. The coordinator will be responsible for initially welcoming patients and ensuring their information is organized before their appointment. You will initially greet and then gather, record and organize patient information, including insurance. You will be a guide throughout the intake process.
Hours:
Full Time- Monday through Thursday 12-8pm, and Friday 9am-5pm.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Receives all incoming calls from potential patients. Conducts thorough screening interviews over the phone by gathering basic information toward determining appropriateness of applicants seeking program admission. Schedule appointments based on providers availability. Provides warm, friendly and welcoming environment upon initial contact with patient in addition to providing a warm hand off to providers. Enters all patient screening/intake paperwork into the company's electronic medical record system (Medent). Verifies all patient benefits, co-payments and pre-authorizations. Maintains confidentiality of all aspects of the company, but not limited to patient confidentiality, and employee relations. Performs other duties as assigned and needed.
Education, Experience and Required Skills/Abilities:
Spanish speaking preferred but not required. Outpatient addiction experience preferred. Strong computer skills, including previous use of electronic medical records system. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Strong phone/speaking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to details. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to function well in a high paced and at time, stressful environment.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
