Inpatient Nursing Assistant - Wilson Medical Center & Binghamton General Hospital

Key Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting Support meal service and monitor patient intake Take and document vital signs, reporting changes to the care team Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment Assist with patient transport and unit support tasks Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families Collaborate with nurses and other team members to ensure quality outcomes

Position Qualification Preferred:

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Completion of a Nurses Aide program Previous hospital or health care experience.

License/Certification Preferred:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Work Environment Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated. Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting. Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions. Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants. PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
