Patient Coordination:
Greeting patients warmly, managing check-in/check-out, and handling a high volume of calls with professional etiquette. •
Scheduling:
Mastering our EHR system to optimize appointment slots for our doctors and opticians. •
Insurance Verification:
Confirming vision and medical insurance eligibility (VSP, EyeMed, etc.) and explaining coverage to patients clearly. •
Administrative Support:
Handling patient records, processing payments, and assisting the management team with daily operational tasks. What We're Looking For •
Experience:
1-2 years of medical or dental reception experience preferred (Optical experience is a major plus!). •
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills—you can handle a busy waiting room with a smile. •
Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable navigating electronic health records (EHR) and basic office software. •
