About the Practice NEO Dermatology is a brand new, privately owned dermatology practice founded by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Meredith Reimer. Dr. Reimer has been serving patients in the Cleveland area since 2013, preceded by two years in Colorado and four years in Chicago. Dr. Reimer offers medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology treatments for patients of all ages. About the Position We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Patient Service Representatives to join our front office team. As the first point of contact for our patients and guests - you ensure a warm welcome and efficient handling of all patient service operations. The ideal candidate must have strong medical front office and patient services experience, excellent communication, and a genuine passion for dermatologic health. A successful Patient Service Representative is crucial in creating a positive experience for every patient and supporting our dermatology team in delivering outstanding care. Compensation Competitive compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience and scope of responsibility, with an anticipated range of $20-$23 per hour. Responsibilities Front Desk Operations Greet and check-in patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor. Verify patient information, update records, and manage appointment schedules. Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications with accuracy and efficiency. Oversee retail area and provide requested information and guidance as directed by the dermatology provider specifically to at-home care. Patient Care & Support Provide clear information about procedures, treatments, and financial policies. Assist patients with insurance verification and billing inquiries. Address patient concerns and resolve issues in a timely and courteous manner. Book appointments for optimal visit and clinical flow. Optimize appointment calendar to ensure all provider schedules are full, and patients prepped in advance with correct visit expectations. Administrative Duties Process patient forms, referrals, and medical records as needed. Maintain a clean and organized reception area. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and appointment management. Conduct other administrative activities as assigned which include following and completing timely checklists. Operational Efficiency Assist with managing appointment reminders and follow-ups. Handle patient data entry and ensure confidentiality and accuracy. Support the team in maintaining a high standard of customer service and clinic operations.
