Shifts & Hours:
Shifts vary within the following hours of operation:
Monday & Tuesday:
7:30am
  • 7:00pm Wednesday
  • Friday:
    7:30am
  • 5:00pm
Saturday:
7:30am
  • 12:00pm Southwoods Health is seeking an organized and professional Registrar to join our Imaging team.
As the face of Southwoods Imaging, you will ensure a seamless experience for our patients by managing the registration process, verifying insurance, and coordinating patient flow with our clinical staff. What You'll Do (Essential Duties):
Patient Coordination:
Greet and check patients in/out, monitor the reception area, and ensure all necessary paperwork and consents are completed accurately.
Data & Records:
Update patient demographics and insurance in the EMR; verify provider orders against scheduled procedures.
Technical Tasks:
Utilize Meditech to enter patient information and clinical orders; verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays.
Administrative Support:
Manage incoming calls and routing; prepare patient charts, print labels/wristbands, and maintain a balanced cash drawer for daily deposits.
Compliance:
Ensure all front-office processes maintain strict compliance with healthcare regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous medical receptionist or registrar experience is highly preferred.
Education:
Training in business office activities and a basic understanding of medical terminology.
Technical Skills:
Strong computer proficiency and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
