Responsibilities Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is an important part of the Chord Specialty Dental Partners team. The PSR will have responsibility for being the first line of customer service for all patients and visitors entering our practices. The position will primarily be responsible for assisting patients and ensuring that patients and their families receive the best possible service.
Schedule :
Monday
  • Thursday 8:15am
  • 5:00pm and Friday 8:15am
  • 1:00pm
Responsibilities:
Calculate and collect co-payments, verify insurance (including Medicare and Medicaid), complete credit card processing, and balance nightly deposits. Schedule/confirm patient appointments and follow up on no-shows or cancelations. Smile and greet patients and families upon arrival and dismissal. Answer telephones and check voicemails Check patients in/out and verify patient information All other tasks as requested by management.
Qualifications What You Need:
High School Diploma generally required Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures Experience with customer service principles and practices Must be available to travel to other locations to meet operational needs Preferred, but not required At least one year of experience working in a dental, medical, or health-care office is preferred Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO/Medicare/Medicaid) is helpful Bilingual #IND
