$61.00-$97.60 hourly
Job Description:
The Director of Patient Services provides leadership in organizing, planning, implementing, managing, and evaluating resources to deliver optimum patient care in a cost-effective manner, consistent with the Center's Mission and Philosophy. Supervises the Patient Services Management Team and others with a direct reporting relationship to the Director Patient Services. Accountable for total manpower division and effective productivity measurement for the designated departments in the Division of Patient Services. Accountable for cost effective financial performance of all resources, including manpower, supplies, and equipment for the designated departments in the Division of Patient Services. Participates as a member in the Operations and Leadership Councils communication and decision-making bodies.
QualificationsJob Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a Masters in Nursing, Masters of Business Administration or Masters in Healthcare related degree required or equivalent executive experience in lieu of. Minimum five years' progressive hospital management experience. Knowledge and leadership ability to plan, organize, manage, and control multi-disciplinary fiscal resources, human resources, and material resources. Information Systems knowledge preferred. Computer knowledge preferred. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (
Occasionally:
activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (
Frequently:
activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
