Job description: Premier Breast Health Institute is a freestanding diagnostic imaging center committed to providing high-quality patient care in a compassionate, efficient, and professional environment. Our services include MRI, ultrasound, mammography, and X-ray. We are currently seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team.
Position Summary:
The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is responsible for patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and delivering exceptional customer service that reflects our values of care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter patient demographics and insurance information Schedule appointments and manage incoming referral requests Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments Collect co-pays and provide financial estimates when needed Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times Coordinate with technologists and clinical staff to ensure a smooth workflow Assist with medical records requests and phone inquiries Perform general administrative duties including scanning, filing, and data entry
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare front desk or patient-facing role Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in EMR and scheduling systems (experience with radiology systems a plus) Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
