May 20, 2026 Job Overview We are hiring a Patient Services Representative / Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our fast-paced healthcare practice. This position is ideal for a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented professional who is comfortable handling a high-volume workload and understands the importance of accuracy, efficiency, and patient experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes ownership, works well under pressure, and is not afraid of hard work. Key Responsibilities Greet patients professionally and manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using eClinicalWorks (eCW). Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Verify insurance information and assist patients with basic billing or coverage questions. Answer and manage multi-line phones, voicemails, and electronic messages promptly. Provide clear explanations of office policies, procedures, and services. Address patient concerns calmly and professionally while maintaining excellent customer service. Communicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and daily operations. Support front-office administrative tasks as needed to keep the practice running efficiently. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience as a medical receptionist, patient services representative, or front desk staff in a healthcare setting preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (eClinicalWorks experience is a plus). Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a high-volume medical office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion. Knowledge of insurance verification and medical office workflows. Reliable, punctual, and accountable with a strong work ethic. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required.
