Job Description

Summary of Responsibilities :
The Coordinator provides exceptional student-focused customer service, expert guidance to students and parents, and critical systems integration support for the Admissions, Operations, and Financial Aid offices. Additionally, the Coordinator provides administrative support for the Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing. Strong abilities to think critically, problem-solve, and pay attention to detail are essential. The Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Financial Aid.
Essential Responsibilities :

Financial Aid Office Operations and Student Support:
Serves as the primary point of contact for students, parents, faculty, staff, and external partners to manage inquiries, assist visitors, oversee correspondence, and ensure timely follow-up communication. Oversees Office of Financial Aid communications, including the general email and voicemail account, written correspondence, phone inquiries, and Teams interactions. Assists with student portal access issues, document collection, and file uploads. Conducts initial document verification for federal financial aid compliance. Tracks and processes external aid sources, including OVR and outside scholarships. Coordinates with external organizations and scholarship agencies to facilitate student eligibility. Maintains office organization by overseeing file systems, scheduling advising appointments, and coordinating outreach efforts such as mailings, texts, and batch letters.
Systems Integration Support:
Performs system integration functions related to EdConnect, Slate, Jenzabar, and PowerFAIDS. Maintains new student aid processes and generates reports to support office operations. Regularly imports leads for recruitment. Monitors shared Admissions email inbox. Executes daily system maintenance processes to maintain data integrity. Assists with processing received Admissions documents such as transcripts, test scores, references etc. Supports audits, compliance reviews, reporting, and data management. Support of the
Vice President Enrollment and Marketing:
Assists the VPEM with communication, managing the divisional calendar, and coordinating meetings. Manages travel and outreach schedules of VPEM. Supports the VPEM in prioritizing tasks and outreach related to new partnership development. Records and follows up with weekly outstanding items from divisional and leadership meetings. General:

Qualifications:
Minimum:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
Prior work experience in customer service and with computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Access, Outlook, and Excel.
Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrate strong organizational skills with attention to detail and critical thinking. Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Maintain proficient typing speed and adapt to relevant computer applications and software as needed. Professionally address and resolve questions and problems. Work accurately, efficiently, and within deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with frequent interruptions.
Christian Commitment:
An eligible candidate must be a thoughtful and articulate Christian and an active member of a Protestant evangelical Christian church. Preference will be given to the candidate who supports and has an articulate understanding of the Reformed faith. An eligible candidate must understand and support the College's "Foundational Concepts of Christian Education" by expressing an evangelical Christian profession of faith and demonstrate the ability to integrate a Christian perspective in their work.

Two to three years of previous experience in a customer service, financial aid, or admissions environment.
