At Three Rivers Dermatology, we provide exceptional and friendly healthcare services to our community. We are looking for an energetic and professional receptionist to join our team.
Position Summary:
As a Medical Office Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming environment and managing patient interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service. Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar. Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date. Verify patient insurance information and handle/refer billing inquiries. Assist with administrative tasks, including scanning documents and responding to emails. Use the electronic medical record to facilitate communication between patients and medical staff.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role in a medical setting preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and in compliance with all HIPAA regulations.
