The Clinical Service Specialist supports patient access and clinic operations through scheduling, registration, insurance verification, patient communication, and coordination of outpatient services. This role also provides non-licensed patient care support and assists with maintaining a safe, efficient, and patient-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Schedule appointments, register patients, and verify insurance coverage. Manage inbound and outbound patient communications. Collect patient payments and discuss financial responsibilities. Process referrals, authorizations, and electronic medical record documentation. Coordinate care and support scheduling for routine and complex patient needs. Complete registration and scheduling work queues within established standards. Greet, escort, and prepare patients for provider visits. Assist providers with procedures and clinical support activities within scope of practice. Maintain supplies, equipment, and clinic cleanliness. Perform additional duties as assigned, including supporting other regional locations when needed.
