Job Summary:
We are seeking a patient-focused professional to support access to care for prescription medications through high-touch service and clear communication. Our team is looking for someone who can help patients, physicians, and pharmacies navigate reimbursement support, program information, and issue resolution with empathy and confidence.
Responsibilities:
Respond to inbound and outbound calls and claims from patients, physicians, and pharmacies to support access to care and reimbursement needs. Deliver a high level of patient empathy and service while helping create a smooth and reassuring experience. Process claims and answer phones based on volume, while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Escalate requests when needed and coordinate with internal teams such as Program Management, IT, and other Patient Support teams to resolve issues.
Required:
High School diploma or GED is required. 1+ years of healthcare or case management experience in a high-volume contact center environment or similar environment is preferred. Experience working in pharmacy benefits, health care insurance, and/or medical billing is preferred. Experience with Third-Party systems such as SelectRx, Pro-Care, or FSV is a plus, as is experience with call center software such as Five9, In-Contact, or similar.
