Job Description
ONLY PERMANENT EMPLOYEES IN THE TITLE AND THOSE THAT ARE REACHABLE ON THE PUBLIC HEALTH ADVISER CIVIL SERVICE LIST ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.
Division/Program Summary:
The Bureau of Public Health Clinics (BPHC)- Sexually Transmitted Infections has the mission of improving the sexual heath of all New Yorkers.
- Sexually Transmitted Infections operates 8 STI clinics throughout New York City (NYC).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Post laboratory results.
- Greeter Service.
- Collection of fingerstick specimens and phlebotomy as needed.
- Maintain CPR/BLS certification.
- Perform clerical functions, such as registration.
- Recall clinic patients with reactive results via text, phone and email.
- Patient callback for missed appointment and/or reschedule (as needed). Why you should work for us:
