Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Hybrid Mental Health Clinician specializing in Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Veterans, and Outpatient Services. This energetic role offers a unique blend of in-person and telehealth therapy, providing vital mental health support to diverse populations. You will deliver evidence-based psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and comprehensive assessments, empowering clients to overcome challenges and achieve their wellness goals. Your expertise will help foster resilience, promote recovery, and improve overall mental health outcomes across various settings. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral health techniques. Utilize motivational interviewing and crisis management skills to engage clients effectively and de-escalate urgent situations. Deliver specialized services including PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, child & youth therapy, and behavior management for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, clinical ethical guidelines, and medical records standards within EMR/EHR systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, treatment planning, and research initiatives to optimize patient care outcomes. Facilitate telehealth therapy sessions ensuring seamless patient communication while adhering to clinical documentation standards. Requirements Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field; licensure or certification as required by state law (e.g., LCSW, LPC). Proven experience working with children, adolescents, veterans, or individuals with co-occurring disorders in outpatient or inpatient settings. Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), psychopharmacology basics, and trauma-focused interventions. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10) for diagnostic evaluation and medical terminology essential for accurate documentation. Experience delivering telehealth services using secure platforms while maintaining clinical integrity and confidentiality. Ability to manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques and social work principles. Excellent communication skills for client engagement, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, clinical ethical guidelines, and medical documentation standards necessary for compliance.
