Our growing Pediatric offices located in Georgetown and Kingstree, SC is looking to hire a Medical Office Receptionist for our Georgetown location. If you love working with children, are personable and friendly, this is the job for you! The ideal candidate for this position has a background in medical office administration. This position requires a sense of urgency, and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Medical Office Receptionist Duties:

Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner, in person or on the telephone. Answer phone call and schedule appointments. Register new patients. Working knowledge of healthcare insurance preferred. Maintain patient records and update necessary information. Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording, and collecting patient payments and posting. Maintains medical office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level. Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information. Ensure patient waiting area is clean and organized.

Medical Office Receptionist Requirements:

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role. Knowledge of medical administrative procedures and terminology. Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines. Familiarity with electronic medical records systems. Strong organizational and attention to detail. Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of medical scheduling, medical records, and medical office procedures is preferred. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Maintain operations by following practice policies and procedures. Experience using Microsoft Word & Outlook.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent to 3 to 5 years of medical office experience. Associates degree or certificate in Medical Office Administration. 3 to 5 years of medical office experience required. Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
