The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience. $18.00 - $23.25
Position Highlights Hours:
8-430 M-F. Days can vary throughout the month based on needs. A Brief Overview First point of contact for the patient both in person and over the phone. Completes scheduling, registration and serves as a member of the provider's Care Team in coordinating the flow of patients. What you will do Maintains timely flow of patients which includes coordinating appointment scheduling, greet patients, visitors, and co-workers in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner. Checks patients in at desk and gathers necessary demographic, insurance information and co pays as appropriate. Answers multiple line telephone and routes calls promptly; does not leave caller on hold or unattended for extended periods of time. Alerts appropriate personnel to urgent messages/issues that require immediate attention. Assist the provider and nurse with other support duties as time allows, including but not limited to: making copies, opening mail, completion of disabilities forms, complete forms, make referrals, running reports, and fax items as requested. Responsible to maintain patient records in an orderly fashion and accessible to the provider while maintaining patient confidentiality. Responsible for completing prior authorizations on procedures ordered by the provider. Essential Qualifications The individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
Less than 1 year related experience and or training
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
