Overview The Registrar at Crestmont University is a key administrative role that is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of student records. Responsibilities Oversee the overall operations of the Registrar's Office, including but not limited to areas such as management of student records, conferring degrees, and degree audits. Evaluate transfer credits from outside institutions and complete international transcript reviews. Advise and enforce policies and compliance procedures related to student records and registration. Coordinate the registration process for students, including scheduling classes, verifying enrollment, and processing registrations. Work with faculty and staff to ensure that course schedules are accurate and up-to-date. Monitor academic progress and provide support to students as needed, including guidance on academic policies and procedures. Assist with the development and implementation of academic policies and procedures. Assures responsiveness of the Registrar Office functions to the overall needs of the university, students, faculty, and administrators. Ensure the University's compliance with regional and national regulations and university policies pertaining to the maintenance and integrity of student records. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field such as education, business administration, or a related discipline, providing foundational knowledge relevant to academic administration. Minimum 2 years of work experience in a Registrar's Office environment with progressive responsibilities in a higher education institution. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective communication with students, faculty, and other stakeholders. Ability to analyze data, interpret policies, and make decisions in accordance with regulations and standards, ensuring compliance and accuracy in registrar operations. Familiarity with student information systems, database management, and other relevant software applications, enabling efficient management of student records and registration processes.
