Medical Office Assistant
Medical Assistant License Required
We are seeking a friendly,anized, and dependable Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our client's plastic surgery practice. This role is patient-facing and applicants must hold a current Medical Assistant license, as clinical support is required.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with patients, provides excellent customer service, and isfortable assisting with both administrative and clinical duties to support an efficient and weing office environment.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and create a weing front office experience
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-in and check-out
Verify and maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Assist providers with patient preparation and clinical tasks
Prepare operating room as directed by surgeon and nurses
Administer medications
Educate patients on medication instructions and post-visit care
Maintain cleanliness andanization of exam rooms and office areas
Support both front and back-office operations to ensure smooth daily workflow
Qualifications
Active Medical Assistant (MA) license required
Previous experience in a medical office required
Previous experience in a plastic surgery practice preferred
Friendly and professional demeanor with strong patient service skills
Excellentmunication andanizational abilities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) preferred
