Job Description
What You'll Be Doing The Patient Services Specialist is responsible for greeting/check-in in patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and reception support for the clinic. The successful candidate will be able to: Check patients in and obtain patient information utilizing the web-based on-site Schedule appointments and follow-up with appointments as needed Collect and post proper patient payment, including print appropriate receipts Perform insurance eligibility checks prior to patient appointments Answer all phone calls timely, and in a professional and courteous manner Route calls and messages appropriately Effectively communicate with all staff and providers amongst all clinics Perform any and all other duties as assigned What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required Experience in the medical field, preferred Excellent PC skills, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced clinic setting and maintain a passion to help those in need Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required Work independently, requiring minimal or no oversight and guidance What We Offer Competitive pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Generous paid time off Paid Holidays 401k Continuing Education We are an Equal Opportunity Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
