Patient Services Specialist — KidzCare Pediatrics Full-time | Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts | Harriman, TN KidzCare Pediatrics is a busy pediatric practice serving families across three East Tennessee communities. Our mission is to provide quality healthcare for children while supporting and educating their families in the communities that need it most — and to make every visit a positive experience for kids and parents alike. This position is based at our Harriman clinic. What You'll Be Doing The Patient Services Specialist provides front-desk, clerical, and billing support for the clinic. You'll be the first person families see and the voice they hear on the phone. Check patients in and verify demographic and insurance information in our practice management system (eClinicalWorks) Schedule appointments and manage follow-up scheduling Collect and post patient payments and issue receipts Run insurance eligibility checks in advance of scheduled appointments Answer incoming calls promptly, professionally, and courteously Route calls and messages to the appropriate staff or provider Communicate effectively with staff and providers across all clinic locations Other duties as assigned What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Experience in a medical office preferred Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinic environment Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight What We Offer Competitive pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Health savings and flexible spending accounts Life insurance 401(k) with employer match Generous paid time off and paid holidays Employee assistance program Continuing education support KidzCare Pediatrics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
