In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients entering our facility, ensuring a smooth and welcoming check-in process. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help facilitate efficient patient flow, accurate data collection, and exceptional customer service. You will handle administrative tasks related to patient registration, insurance verification, and medical record management, all while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and privacy standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality healthcare delivery through proactive communication and administrative excellence. Duties Greet patients warmly and verify their appointment Collect and update patient information using electronic health record (EHR) systems Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and assist with insurance verification processes Maintain organized medical records by filing documents correctly and ensuring confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and guiding patients through the check-in process with clear communication skills Support front desk operations including appointment scheduling, phone etiquette, and general clerical duties such as medical records Experience Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems Knowledge of insurance verification processes Strong computer skills Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient service excellence in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in clinical office environments involving intake procedures, medical scheduling, or front desk operations is desirable Join us in delivering outstanding healthcare experiences!
